Lok’tar friends!
Yes, you heard right, Ashes of Tirisfal rocked two Old World raids late last night. We started out strong and got stronger as a few people logged on and we filled up a party-sized raid.
Ashes prepares for battle at the maw of Onyxia’s lair. Be afraid, dragon, be very afraid. From left, Flanksteak the Tauren Warrior; me, as Kor the Orc Death Knight; Grubs the Tauren Death Knight; Jaarka the Orc Hunter; NotTomBreaver the Ghoul, As-yet-unnamed Spirit Beast; Slig the Tauren Shaman.

Six minutes later, the proud guildies stood over the fallen corpse of the Black Dragon in victory!
Lok’tar Ogar! For the Horde!

Emboldened by our swift victory, Ashes decided to pay a trip to the Jungle Trolls of Zul’Gurub and make our presence known. Our wonderfully healy Shaman, Elder Sliggeh, had to depart. Without much ado, we promptly turned around and brought the pain. The result not unexpected.

While these may not be the freshest cabbage, the razor’s edge, or even interesting to anyone, it was the first time a lot of us had even seen these bosses and the official first kills for Ashes as a guild (despite some individuals having seen them downed before). And it was totally spur of the moment. A few of us got these fine things here:

Jaarka wrote about it too and you can read it here. Oh, one last thing. You and you. You’re on notice. Ashes comes for you!
